[Aerospace-related Contracted Vibration Test Case] Electronic Components

Conducted a random 3-axis simultaneous vibration test! A case where the cause of electronic component failure was clarified.

We would like to introduce a case study of vibration testing related to aircraft that our company conducted. For electronic components used in aircraft that experienced operational failures, we verified whether the issues could be reproduced through a three-axis simultaneous vibration test, which is closer to real environmental conditions, rather than a single-axis vibration test. While conducting a random three-axis simultaneous vibration test with the electronic component under power, we observed failures in the signal transmission of the electronic component. This verification allowed us to clarify the cause of the failure of the electronic component in question. [Test Specimen] ■ Name: Electronic Component for Aircraft ■ Weight: 17kg (including mounting fixture) ■ Dimensions: Approximately 300mm(W) x 200mm(D) x 150mm(H) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Dynamic Electric 3-Axis Simultaneous Vibration Testing Device 'FM Series'

[New Product] Vibration testing time significantly reduced! Electrodynamic 3-axis simultaneous vibration system

The dynamic electric three-axis simultaneous vibration testing device "FM Series" is a multi-axis vibration system that enables simultaneous excitation in three axes, completed by merging the dynamic electric vibration generator developed by Emic Corporation over many years and the linear bearing guide mechanism cultivated by International Measuring Instruments. It is an environmentally friendly vibration testing device that supports the energy-saving drive system "ECO-Vibe neo." By selecting the range of excitation force used, it is possible to reduce power consumption. It is also possible to combine it with a temperature and humidity testing chamber to create a composite environmental testing device. 【Features】 ■ Vibration simulation in three axes that closely resembles real environments, allowing for the reproduction and extraction of latent defects. ■ The total time for vibration testing is significantly reduced compared to single-axis testing. ■ A linear bearing guide mechanism is adopted at the joint parts. *For more details, you can check various information from the link provided below.

[Automotive-related Contracted Vibration Test Case] On-board Reactor for HEV

Comparison of overall effective acceleration! A case where it has been demonstrated that a large acceleration value is applied.

We would like to introduce a case study of vibration testing related to automobiles that our company conducted. When conducting vibration tests on an onboard reactor for HEVs, we performed tests to confirm how the overall effective acceleration at specific points of the specimen changes during simultaneous three-axis vibration testing and single-axis vibration testing. To do this, we attached acceleration sensors to two specific points of the onboard reactor for HEVs and compared the overall effective acceleration during the simultaneous three-axis vibration test with that during the Z-axis single-axis vibration test. As a result, it was clearly demonstrated that the overall acceleration was higher during the simultaneous three-axis vibration test, and that greater acceleration values were applied at the two specific measurement points of the specimen compared to the single-axis vibration. [Test Specimen] ■ Name: Onboard Reactor for HEVs ■ Mass: Approximately 30 kg ■ Dimensions: 640 mm (length) × 480 mm (width) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
